It’s true what they say: You really don’t know how many friends you have until you move to Hawaii!

Years ago a group of four friends moved from California to Hilo, Hawaii for a little life change. A solid year of hosting visiting friends and family, showing them the sights, from the spectacular to the sublime, and KapohoKine Adventures was born! We love living here, and we love sharing it with our guests. We don’t do the normal big bus tours. We offer the best Hawaii Adventure Tours on the big island. We keep groups small, allowing us access to places normally off-limits to travelers. Our need to honor and protect the endemic culture, traditions and natural resources of Hawaii is born out of our respect for the Hawaiian people, their story, and their struggles, which recently has encouraged the acquisition of a terrapass. We hope that exposing more people to the real Hawaii, places of pristine natural beauty and ancient raw power, will help to keep traditional Hawaii alive.
